As 3 Faltas...

Message delivered on 11/10/2012 at Congregational Church of Weir. All three faults that cause a lack of faith. God gave me this message in a time of many questions a year ago, teaching me what is faith and what prevents it from happening. I list all three points in this message that God struck me.

Insufficient memory

"For thou shalt remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and an outstretched arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day." (Deuteronomy 5: 15)

In the Old Testament we see the people of Israel to God's chosen nation, the nation elected a holy people, repeatedly muttering and contending with Jehovah God. Several times reading the Old Testament we find God speaking to people, I am the Lord thy God who brought thee out of the land of Egypt. God repeated this often to people they every moment of difficulty and distress which there seemed no solution seemed to forget all that God had done, the God who subdued the Pharaoh that God opened the Red Sea and so many wonders did was commonly forgotten by his people who constantly rebelled. Was it only the people of Israel who acted that way, or we Christians, servants of the Lord Jesus did not do this for several times face difficulties? Often we forget Who and what we did for our God, we forget that our God gave his son for us, got us out of the mire of sin, healed us, baptized us and bless us live, this forgetting, this lack of memory has caused the death of our faith.

Lack of unconditional love"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3: 16)The word of God tells us that God loves us and loves us with a love that is unconditional that does not place conditions. The Bible says that God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten son to everyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life, and what was the condition that God has for us, for loving us? No! And we have loved God without putting conditions, we loved when He does ours when He does not give us what we want, when He is silent when He tests our faith and enables the difficulties happen? If our love for God is conditioning and is dependent on conditions not live by faith, we do not have faith, and without faith it is impossible to please God.

Lack of dependence"Some trust in chariots and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God." (Psalm 20: 7)The world today has taught everyone and everything independence, has preached a lie that to be free and do what you want, commit all sorts of sin and aberação and be a slave to sin and the devil horse. But the proposal of Jesus for us is not that. His proposal is to be free in Christ, the word free and dependent on God. Until we recognize our weakness and misery and how much we need Him for believing that His power is made perfect in our weakness and continue living in our foolish independence, walking with our own forces will not reach their faith, and the supernatural miracle of God not occur in our life.Let's tackle these faults, bringing memory will live what gives us hope, what God did, does and will do in our lives, we love the Lord unconditionally, though the fig tree does not floreça and we acknowledge him as Lord and Savior understanding and living a life of total dependence on Him, and attain faith, and God will cover our life of miracles, Hallelujah!Preacher Lucas de Jesus A.
